agentgateway is an open-source proxy built on MCP and A2A that adds security, observability and governance to agent traffic. It routes LLM calls to major providers through an OpenAI-compatible API with budget controls, load balancing and failover; federates MCP tools across stdio, HTTP, SSE and streamable HTTP with OpenAPI integration and OAuth; and secures agent-to-agent communication.
