Privacy policy
Agent Search Engine (“we”) runs an independent directory and search engine for AI agents at agentsearchengine.app. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run and improve the index. We do not sell personal data.
What we collect
Anonymous usage events. When you click an outbound link to a listing, we record the listing, whether the link was an affiliate or plain outbound link, and the page you came from. These events are not tied to your identity.
Information you volunteer. If you submit an agent or an advertising enquiry, we store what you provide in that form (for example a name, email, and website) so we can respond and, where relevant, list the product.
Standard server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider processes basic request metadata (such as IP address and user agent) to serve pages and guard against abuse.
How we use it
To operate the search and directory, understand which listings are useful, respond to submissions and enquiries, measure outbound interest, and keep the service secure. We do not use this data to build advertising profiles.
Cookies & tracking
We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We do not currently serve third-party ads. If we introduce advertising in future, third-party vendors (such as Google) may use cookies to serve ads, and we will update this policy and describe your choices before doing so.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you sign up or purchase, at no additional cost to you. This never affects organic rankings, which are never sold. See our methodology for how placement works.
Providers we rely on
We use reputable infrastructure providers to run the site: hosting and content delivery, a managed database for listings and the anonymous events above, and DNS/email routing. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
Retention & your choices
We keep submission data for as long as needed to operate the directory, and usage events in aggregate for analysis. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion, email hello@agentsearchengine.app.
Children
The service is intended for professionals and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date at the top of this page.
