Anthropic is merging Cowork and chat into Claude. The general app supports writing, file work, code and artifacts; hand-off and suite features have plan-specific access.

- Mixed feature stages. Core app available. Unified experience rollout started with Pro/Max; the transition article records Enterprise GA on October 23. Individual creative features retain separate stages.

- Vendor cloud. Cloud inference with optional connected apps and files. Consumer and organizational terms/settings differ; ASE has not verified account-specific training or retention controls.
