Separate Inngest Cloud, SDK and server

Inngest Cloud lists a Free tier with 50,000 executions and 500,000 ingested events per month, plus paid tiers. Runs and their steps consume separate executions. On Free, execution pauses when the quota is exhausted.

This record also links to the server repository; its SSPL terms and future Apache grant are separate from Cloud pricing and SDK terms. The stored Free label does not mean unlimited Cloud operation or free infrastructure and model usage. ASE has not tested billing or deployment.

You need an OSI open-source licence for the server; it uses SSPL with a delayed Apache 2.0 licence.

About Inngest

Inngest replaces queues, state management and scheduling with durable functions written in its language SDKs. Functions are triggered by events, cron schedules or webhooks, retried and coordinated step by step, and invoked securely over HTTPS on your own infrastructure; a local dev server offers production parity, with the Inngest Platform or a self-hosted server for orchestration. The server is source-available under SSPL, converting to Apache 2.0 later.
