Markdownify is an MCP server that converts PDFs, images, audio with transcription, DOCX, XLSX and PPTX files, general web pages, YouTube transcripts and Bing search results into Markdown, and retrieves existing Markdown files. It uses Microsoft's markitdown under the hood, installed into a Python virtual environment during setup.
