About UI Discovery

UI Discovery offers a design-reference library with a hosted MCP server and REST API for AI-assisted design work. Its documentation describes searching sections, screens and flows, inspecting reference previews and extracting design tokens. MCP setup requires account sign-in; REST access uses an account API key. Free catalogue search has allowances, while design briefs and image plans require Pro. The connector returns references and guidance; separate assistant, coding or design tools create the output. Reference images and fonts retain their owners' rights, so use original copy and appropriately licensed assets. Connector reliability, account permissions and generated designs were not tested.

Before connecting: access and data

• Check which accounts, files and services the enabled tools can read or change. Permissions depend on your credentials and the tools you enable.
• Use the smallest permissions you need. Choose read-only access where the publisher supports it, and review proposed writes before approving them.
• A local server can still send data to external services. Your client may also pass tool results to its model provider; check both destinations before sharing private data.
• Know how to disconnect the connector and revoke its token or account access.
