Select the version and model provider before installing

OpenCode's documentation now distinguishes OpenCode 1 and OpenCode 2 installation paths. V2 documents terminal, desktop and web access, with connected providers and optional OpenCode model offerings. The client and authenticated model access are separate choices.

Use the documentation for the version you intend to run: older installation methods can replace or conflict with V2. Check provider credentials, model availability, usage charges and any subscription limits. ASE has not executed an installer, connected an account or tested a model.
