Free MIT code; separate Cursor usage and local-control limits
TecAdRise Bot documents a Windows desktop for Cursor SDK agents, shared memory and routines. The MIT source code is free; Cursor API usage is billed separately under the key owner's plan and model prices. Cursor documents hosted inference even for a local agent loop.
- TecAdRise Bot repository: MIT. The code license does not include model inference, provider accounts or optional hosted tools.
Requires Windows 10/11, Node.js 22.13+, npm 10+ and a Cursor API key. Routines run while the app is open. Bundled Playwright and hosted AgentMail may need separate setup, accounts and usage charges. The loopback control API has no authentication and supports messaging and configuration changes; do not expose it outside the machine. macOS/Linux support, installation, execution, credential storage, isolation and billing were not tested by ASE.
The review date is an ASE reminder, not an upstream guarantee.
Developers evaluating a configurable Windows multi-agent desktop with a Cursor API key.
You need offline models, verified macOS/Linux support, unattended scheduling while the app is closed, or an authenticated remote control service.
About TecAdRise Bot
TecAdRise Bot is an MIT-licensed Electron desktop for configuring Cursor SDK agents, shared memory, workspaces, skills and scheduled routines. As checked October 15, 2026, the source code is free; Cursor API usage is billed separately under the key owner's applicable plan and model pricing. A Cursor API key is required. Cursor documents hosted model inference even when the agent loop runs locally: local desktop does not mean offline models. The publisher documents Windows 10/11, Node.js 22.13+ and npm 10+; macOS and Linux support were not verified. Scheduled routines fire while the app is open. Bundled first-launch defaults include local Playwright MCP and hosted AgentMail, which may require a browser login; optional tools can have separate account and usage requirements. The control API binds to 127.0.0.1:8787 without authentication and permits messaging and configuration changes; do not expose it outside the machine. Installation, model execution, tool connections, credential storage, security isolation and billing were not tested by ASE. This is independent software, not an official Grok or xAI product.
