About Telegram MCP

Telegram MCP uses Telethon to expose more than 80 tools for a Telegram user account: chats and groups, messages, contacts, media, folders and admin operations, with multi-account routing, proxy support and a chat allowlist for privacy. It authenticates with a Telegram API ID, API hash and a generated session string.

Telegram MCP is listed in this index written primarily in Python, with 2.0k stars on GitHub. Its latest recorded repository push was in October 2026; that is not an ASE editorial review date.
